Living the Miraculous (2)

November 29, 2009

By definition, a miracle is what appears to be inexplicable: its existence traditionally defined as being beyond the range of human knowing. But clearly, in this age of technology, the miraculous is commonplace. Our perception of reality is undergoing vast change. What awes us today becomes integrated in us – and tomorrow is already part of our experience of life. An experience that is enriched through our collective consciousness. The speed of the integration is evident: we have only to review this past decade to see how far we have come, individually and collectively.

So what does the miraculous look like if we include super-normal sensory awareness? What marks of genius can demonstrate our capacity to live beyond human knowing – beyond any personal/limited experience of reality? Here are 2 examples that speak to me as evidence that we have an inner vision of life. Evidence that we are a source of intelligence, unlimited in scope, and able to communicate the power of what enlivens us.

Esref Armagan: The Blind Painter
Blind since birth, Esref paints with his fingers and has a fascinating ability to understand scale and perspective, and include that in his paintings.

He says, “I want to be remembered as someone who sees the world through their fingertips.”

To understand his artistry, it seems we should pay attention to what he is saying about his fingers.

Artists have an ability to see life in a rich portrayal of poetic and symphonic overlays – giving us glimpses of other perspectives as our eyes move interdimensionally, exploring and connecting with inner worlds of their and our creation.

Fleur Barnfather: Visionary Artist
A great friend of mine, Fleur Barnfather, has an ability to paint consciousness. Her portfolio depicts the movement of global consciousness during this past decade. She does not use inspiration as a base for her paintings, but feels into the energy of her subject, communes with that, and then transforms a canvas into a space of living art.

Here is one of her visionary pieces, ‘The Rise of Authentic Power‘.
Of it she says -

“There is a fresh power rising, as the phoenix bursts forth. She rises to meet in union with authentic masculine energy. Together they celebrate the powerful delights and adventures that are discovered through mutual admiration and creative collaboration.”

We respond to the energy of what she has painted. We respond to what takes us beyond human knowing, so that our own potential is fired. We can feel what she paints. We can feel the energy enliven our creativeness – and that to me is miraculous.

Living the Miraculous

November 23, 2009

There are many products these days that are truly miraculous. So many inventions and gadgets that really do push the frontiers of imagination, causing us to rethink reality and what is possible.

wii-controllerOne of these has been the invention of Wii: a gaming console that uses unique motion-sensing controllers in hand held devices to manage a range of activities defined by the console, such as golf or angling. The console tracks the users hand gestures to decide how the movements fit in with the game. This allows people to interact with virtual reality through physical activity.

On a parallel with this – but extending the interaction between the physical and digital worlds – is an emerging technology called SixthSense. Its inventor, Pranav Mistry, demonstrates its thrilling potential through this short video.

http://www.ted.com/talks/pranav_mistry_the_thrilling_potential_of_sixthsense_technology.html

He has built intuitive gadgets that sense physical motion and can respond by moving information between the physical and digital worlds. Imagine having digital sensors on the ends of your fingers, connected to a wireless device that understands that when you point to a chart in a book you are giving the device the spatial coordinates of the required information, so that you then perhaps redisplay the chart on a wall or send it to your mailing list via email.

cameraOr imagine that your fingers are used as the viewport of a camera, telling the wireless device to take a picture using the coordinates of your fingers to define the area to be captured.

To an onlooker it looks like magic – that you are taking a photo just by using your fingers. And isn’t that the beauty of the miraculous?

Pranav says that the technology can help us be more connected to our physical world. Truly the technology is dancing in the miraculous,  yet the technology itself comes from what we know is possible in non-physicality.

Our interactions in the physical, digital, virtual or any other world are only limited by what we believe is possible. People are now more familiar with telepathy and energy sensing, with mobile phones and computers, with Wii technology and outer space exploration – all amazing accomplishments, and now taken for granted. But …

what happens when you take away the mobile phone technology?  You have the awareness of global consciousness and telepathy.

what happens when you take away the gaming technology? You have the awareness of interactive virtual reality.

what happens when you take away SixthSense technology? You have the awareness that you can touch virtual reality.

The line between physical and non-physical is a blur of perception. Let’s see what the miraculous is becoming.

Setting the Day in Motion

November 20, 2009

Here is my own way of setting the tone for the day and creating a template for all my experiences.

As I awake I already have a feel for what the day can be – of what I wish for it, for myself and for others, of what I wish for the spirit of the world. I arise from bed and connect with the magnificence of creation, feeling the force of it move me, letting the pulsebeat flow through my hands and fingers to pour into the room and then beyond.

I set the day in motion, speaking of what I wish for life; calling for greater awareness to develop in people; asking that the magic be in everything that I do throughout the day; and encouraging a developing love of life in everyone I meet.

This extract from a recent telecall gives more detail. Press the Play button to listen.

I then allow the graceful swirl of my being to take me through the day, connecting and engaging with people in the most amazing ways, knowing that I am shaping my experiences of what can be.

So, I say, be in the celebration of life – and that is what will unfold for you. Be in an ecstatic relationship with people – and that is what they will experience with you. Be in an exquisite caring for everything in the world – and that is what moves the world.

The day, the world, your life will be whatever you say it will be.

Potential Rising (2)

November 20, 2009

Yesterday I mentioned how energy shifts in our body can be understood in either of two ways – that there’s something wrong (problem) or that we are simply undergoing change (potential). The difference in perspective depends on our approach to energy and our relationship to physicality.

Here is a brief overview of how energy potential can be constantly aligned with our physicality.

1.  Consider everything in terms of progressive transformational change.

2.  Drop away your thoughts of who you believe you are and what you believe your life is about.

3.  Drop any pretence at understanding how the world works, so you can focus on your passion for life.

4.  Let your caring for life arise within you as a cascading wave of energy that moves out from your core and dances around you.

5.  Expand your awareness, so that you feel this movement of energy and get a sense that you are more than your physicality.

6.  Align your physicality with this outpouring of energy – just the conscious intention will do it.

7.  Feel your connection to the brilliance and magnificence of this world, knowing that you are helping to source it.

8.  Allow yourself to surrender into the field of infinite creative possibilities, where you are able to source and generate the most amazing life for yourself.

Potential RisingPotential – the ability to source beautiful movement of thought, language, song, and every conceivable expression of our being. To know our nature is to be humbled at the possibilities of what can unfold from us. To encourage the unfoldment of others is a privilege and a declaration of dedication to life. Who knows what we can create together? The potential is here.

Potential Rising

November 19, 2009

A problem is a box:
a way of thinking in which we seek solutions in order to arrive at a tightly defined picture of reality.

Potential:
a free flow expression of energy in an expanded state.

On a recent telecall, I discussed how we can perceive and understand changes in our body.

<a href= A conventional view is that things happen to us, beyond our understanding and control, and anything that causes pain is a problem that needs solving. But our modern perspective is that any discomfort is a signal for us to align our energies.

Things do not happen to our body (as if we regard our body as something separate from our conscious awareness). We are the totality of our experience – whether that is physically or non-physically based. We have sensors inside our body that track and report on energy movement, just as we have sensors in our energy field doing the same. Our awareness, our intelligence, relies upon these signals to inform us of what is happening and what action we need to take, to assist transformational change.

What we interpret as tiredness may actually be a signal for us to relax (rather than be intensely focused) and allow our physicality to adjust to a change in vibration. This level of alertness allows us to adjust our thinking – to think in terms of ‘potential rising’.

Instead of thinking that we have physical problems, it’s more empowering to tune in to what is happening energetically inside our bodies: to sense how our energy is seeking to be expressed, and to get an accurate picture of what’s really going on.

Here is an extract from that telecall in which I explain my process for attuning to and assessing the potential in others.

What is your unique way of working? How do you view changes?

Melbourne Revisited

November 17, 2009

Last November I led two brilliant courses in Melbourne, Australia, on energy awareness and sustainability. I returned in October this year to increase my level of participation with the local community and to create a new body of work. This article details some of what was accomplished and, more importantly, gives a sense of what people are now ready to live. My thanks in particular to Nancy and Andriana for their support and involvement in these events.

Oct 22nd-25th 2009
A 4 day course that had the following objectives.

  1. To reveal who we really are in our most magnificent
  2. To develop an awareness of what we can achieve without constant referral to the past
  3. To allow a deepening interaction with each other
  4. To envision a new purpose for our lives
  5. To be ready to enter a new phase of collective beingness

Key points from the course -

  • that we realise we no longer need to base our lives on past patterns
  • that we carefully assess any situation and know exactly the right action to take rather than rushing to ‘do’
  • that we are more conscious of what we are generating (in every sense)
  • that we are more aware that our physicality represents what we are generating
  • that we can experience a sense of completeness all the time by lining everything up for successful outcomes
  • that sound recalibrates our experience of emotion and we can incorporate the musicality naturally occurring around us
  • that we are creating a unified field of ecstatic infinite possibility
  • that each of us claims the freedom to create what really works

We focused on -

  • LIBERATING THE PAST - when we are fully present the past doesn’t exist, it has no pull, so we created a space where the wisdom from all timelines can be accessed by us in any moment. The past is no longer a place to refer back to and engage with because the place of engagement is directly accessible in a now context.
  • ENERGY ENCODEMENT - in each of us (and all around us) there is so much information that can be used, so we explored how to access and decode that information by being conscious of the most appropriate understanding in any situation.
  • DECLARING CELEBRATION - this is when we realise that our stories of who we have been and how we have lived are subject to interpretation, and can be reinterpreted through the spirit of celebration. Everything can be celebration.
  • LANDING BEINGNESS – setting aside any belief that there is anything more of ourselves to reach for and integrate, we looked at how our relationship with life is enhanced when we see that we have everything at our fingertips – for we are now truly complete.
  • CREATING A NEW UNFOLDMENT OF REALITY – what happens when creation and consciousness comes together? well they create a unified field, a perpetuating energy force that is our natural state of being.

A key moment of this course was when people decided that their past was no longer the sequence of events that they remembered. In a new interpretation, what had been experienced as pain and suffering could now be viewed as progressive movements towards evolving magnificence. One of the group decided that her past no longer dictated her present experiences: in the light of celebration there is no longer anything to fix, complain about or feel incomplete.  She is totally complete.

We have come to a moment where the past no longer holds us back and where there is such a brilliant future. “We know in the fullness of our being that we are riding the crest of greatness, letting go of the need for quest and embracing the beauty of creation.” – Andriana

In a  short video Andriana talks further about the significance of this time.

Oct 26th – Men’s Night

A great group of men assembled to openly talk about those things that are deeply important but are not easily shared. For some it was an astounding revelatory experience in which they could release their perceptions of what their life has been about. One man said, at the end of the night, “I was never disconnected” – meaning that he had been searching for his connection to others and that connection was now restored. The real point of this event was that men could share meaningful conversation about the richness of themselves and be comfortable with the depth of conversation.

Oct 27th – Youngster’s Night

Put a group of 16 youngsters together and allow them to find out who they really are. That was the basis for this event. These were youngsters in the 16-25 age range who attend the Reach Foundation  in Melbourne. We asked each one to stand in the centre of the group and see what it energetically feels like to express their power. They had to be aware of what it was that they sought to express and to put that in words. We asked them to look at themselves with new eyes and to be there for the whole group. When everyone stood up and helped one other to be seen and acknowledged then we felt a powerful cohesive force in the room.

Oct 29th – The Art & Science of Being day

This was an incredible event. There were 13 of us, ready to discover what we are really here for in this world and ready to explore new ways of relating to one another. That people can come together and take part in something that is neither rehearsed nor previously talked about, and yet be present with such incredible awareness of individual and group contribution, really does highlight that we are closely attuned to what waits to be expressed by each of us.

The theme revolved around pearls and the weaving of golden threads. In symbolic terms, each one of us is a pearl, each weave of contribution creating a tapestry of incredible magnificence to watch and be part of.

People let go of being human beings, in order to allow a greater sense of purpose to arise. The whole day was built around the remaking of ourselves, the remaking of the world, and the remaking of reality. Each person realised that they had something to offer – that their beingness and their life held incredible value – and that to share this unfolding expression of consciousness allowed us to understand the power in each nuance and gesture.

I watched each person stand up and become greater than their human beingness. What people said came from a place of ownership – that each of us recognises the true value of what we say and do, of who we be and are, of what we work upon and work towards. And that we are able to give space for such an unfolding is pure brilliance.

It seems crazy to think about (let alone talk about) these things, and yet the Beingness that we all are just takes charge and knows what to do, without having to question the legitimacy or sanity of what we might be doing. We do the miraculous – why question that? Why stop to ponder the meaning of what is being done when you already know and feel what is so?

Oct 31st-Nov 1st – The Space of Creative Possibilities
Two one-day workshops that built upon the previous experiences. The theme here was to explore the Principles of Being. It centered around -

  • being in our authority about Life and taking control of the experience
  • energetically knowing how to be
  • understanding how to source the movement of our uniqueness
  • exploring the richness of contribution in others and understanding how that is done, and
  • exploring our capacity to envision

We witnessed the stirrings of things that might seem impossible to imagine – that we are able to look at our physicality with open eyes and see through all the layers of energy expression. That our vision is not confined to something that appears solid and unchanging. For our ability to vision is an ability to describe life in every detail in any way that we choose, from what deeply moves us.

“We stand in our greatness, in our beingness. We are connected in a unified field, moving into a new era to dance in limitless possibilities and see the perfection in the totality of all, and creating wonder. We reach into consciousness and feel the vision of how life can be and is being fulfilled … and the exquisite joy of seeing and actioning into creation becomes our new venture.”  – Andriana

The whole Melbourne experience is summed up in these words -

This Melbourne venture has been a merging point for all of us – as a race we are moving into a brilliant future, shaping it according to what wants to grow. We saw that our Beingness is far greater than a knowing of ourselves beyond personality. Our Beingness is the authority to manage physicality and create experiences that manifest the quality of what we desire for all. So let’s get into action with all of it and decide what comes next.
