Magical Reality

Allow the magic to fill up every cell of your Being. Allow it to permeate all that you are.  Rise up from the ground and grow differently today.  Claim your power and brilliance to define your tomorrow, one step at a time.

Seeds take time to germinate and grow into flowers and trees and so do dreams and visions.  Hold your visions with faith and they will become a reality.  Everything you know came forth from that place of unknowing darkness and nothingness, before emerging into the light.
- Morgine Jurdan

“We are not the legacy of separate races that span time and space – we are magical beings, exquisite creations, that collectively are one being. And in the space where we radiate we see the design of magical reality.” – Santari

The recent movie “Avatar” creates a spectacular realism of an other-worldly culture, courtesy of digital animation. The story revolves around the ability to genetically create a life form and then transfer consciousness to it. In a sense that’s what happens in virtual reality games, where a gamer can be so engrossed in the game that he/she is the avatar that they control.

Besides the awe-inspiring capacity to involve people in the scenic beauty of the film, the power of “Avatar” is in the grace and courage of the native people, known as the Na’vi. Through them we are shown how to access information from other species and learn how to commune with their planet. Perhaps not new ideas but the way in which this is done draws us into their reality – and to us it is a magical reality filled with magical beings.

The question that many people ask after experiencing magical reality is how can they live it full-on, thinking that there is some point at which ‘normal’ reality takes over, believing that they are not magical beings themselves and therefore not capable of generating that reality.

The truth is that we can live many different realities, dexterously moving between them with complete ease. What is ‘magical’ to one person may be ‘normal’ to another.  Likewise, what is ‘miraculous’ may also be viewed as ‘normal’. It’s why travel has such tremendous appeal – a change of location, meeting new people, having new experiences – all creates an ambience of excitement and adventure, necessary for growth. The desire for change makes perfect sense in our daily lives. So why not, I say to myself, generate a reality of our conscious choosing, a reality perhaps in which we view everything and everyone as magically supranormal.

All we need to do is to change the standards by which we experience reality. We know the realm of the breath-taking and awe-inspiring. We’ve experienced it through dreams, viewed it in stunning movies like “Avatar”, and read of it through visionary writings such as “Lord of the Rings”.

Something in us is inspired from the connection: something is stirred.

This realm of the magical and enchanted contains essential characteristics that deeply move us.

Moved, you ask – what is moved? It’s in the resonance, I say. The language of the magical evokes openness and connection. Shakes the core in such a way that we must surrender to the intimate contact. It’s in the pulsebeat of total acceptance of ourselves that we get to know others. And what is also stirred is the freedom now to invent ourselves in any way we choose.

As we choose to accept the magicalness, we feel a total kinship with all beings and automatically generate magical reality design in the most profound ways possible, excited by what is to come.

It’s clear to me that the nature of reality is a dynamic exchange of energy that involves and affects everything. We decide how much we wish to expand and increase our awareness of the interactions that take place. We generate the field of resonance in which the beauty of life is exemplified. It is for us to choose what we delight in and how we master the Art of Living in physical form. The delight is in every decision that we make and in every action that we take.

Here’s to a stunning reality for all throughout 2010 … and beyond.

A Stunning Reality (2)

Envisioning a Wondrous Reality

Our body can be viewed in terms of light, vibrancy, colour, sound, waves, particles … multiple perspectives that add to the richness of how we see ourselves and how others may see us. Through our visions of what is possible, the inexplicable, miraculous and unimaginable are given form. And in allowing the power of our visions to take wings and journey with unrestricted splendour – teaching people to appreciate the beauty of life – we build a reality that is strong and enduring, magical and wondrous, magnificent and awesome – of our own making.

Revelations

Years ago I heard about the work of  Dr Masaru Emoto and and read his book, “The Hidden Messages in Water”. Perhaps, like many others, I was most struck by the correlation between an intention and the formation of water crystals that expressed that intention, in terms of discernible patterns.

My own thinking then was that water had consciousness. Whether we give water consciousness or not is not in question. But from my experience, it’s clear that we affect everything with our thoughts, emotions, and with all of our being. Our intentions imbue our world with patterns of our awareness. So the more conscious and aware we are then the more conscious and aware does everything else become. Our collective field fills with the power of what we express.

We may speak of morphic resonance, but it’s also true to say that this is a time when all is in bloom. Inner worlds meeting outer cosmoses, intertwining within the space and breadth of our own visions. And the holding of separate realities literally fades away, to allow for a unified reality that we consciously radiate and share.

It’s not that we need to remove anything from what already exists – it’s more about developing a right (aligned) relationship with it (with people, animals, plants, machines, water, planets, stars, etc.), encouraging the most empowering reality in which it all sings, in which everything flourishes.

We may look out to the vastness of the universes but we’re also connected to inner realms of exquisite magicalness. With a sense of limitlessness throughout it all -  a sense that we are eternal and immortal, that we breathe the power of inner and outer connections – allow a supercontinuity of the expression of life to develop – realising that everything naturally flows in perfect unity.

Vision of Possibilities

If we live for a vision of possibilities beyond our individual self then we realise that the idea of an individual self ceases to exist … a collective self predominates. This sense of a collective self is an expression of all our power. There is no personal power as such, but there is Power that is jubilation and celebration. The power of being connected to all things, in all ways, a superconnected fluency that spans physical and non-physical. The vision of this is only an expression of what we can be aware of and step into and become.

Though our human language is taken apart, our identities disassembled, our understandings of time and space remade – we know that we are living our future vision of what we desire, and we adjust accordingly. And vision is what spurs our growth.

Instant Here & Now

In the instant here and now, we simply be all that we are – and grow accordingly. Knowing that there is no need to hold back upon any aspect of who we are and wish to become.

In the instant here and now, our usage of time and space is vastly different from our human perspective. Now is allowing, not witholding or denying or suppressing. Here is facing the moment of change and surrendering all that we think we are (and have created), in order to take full responsibility for being here, and deciding that we are going to enjoy the experience to its fullest, by celebrating and enhancing the quality of life.

Any signals that we generate/receive are the signals of this moment, to be dealt with in the context of this moment. And in any moment, we can uncreate what has been to allow new creations to take form, expressing what now wishes to be gifted. For Life is the joy of giving and receiving, forever and now.

A Stunning Reality

Reality -

the space of consciousness
the changing state of energy awareness
the place where we energetically meet and create together.

In a series of articles, I look at the nature of what we call ‘reality’. This is the basis for a teleclass in early 2010.

There is a correlation (I feel) between our thinking, our feelings, our physicality and our energy field. It’s a network of complex energy movement that we use to generate reality. Here is my brief overview of how it works, in preparation for a teleclass of the same name ( A Stunning Reality) in 2010.

The Spirit of Enquiry

About 20 years ago I wanted to know if it was possible to feel the flow of energy through a human body – so I registered for Shiatsu courses and learned about holistic massage. Then my enquiring nature wanted to know about crystals: how to communicate with them and understand other forms of life. Later I wanted proof that intelligent life existed in non-physical form: that I could feel the energy touch of the non-physical and could communicate telepathically with seemingly invisible beings.

Of course I was successful in all these endeavours. I got many insights into how to live differently – how I could create my life consciously. One of my most important decisions was to let go of being a human being living on a planet called Earth. I found that when I challenged that thought of who I was being, I was able to consciously orchestrate my life in a different way. I could create a new and more appropriate and powerful knowing of myself. I was freed from having to adjust to a construct – a reality – not of my making.

Power is in our ability to choose … the ability to define all.

The spirit of enquiry allows us to define, redefine or choose not to define anything at all. It gives us the scope to challenge, change, allow and move through any experience with grace and ease. It allows us to expand and grow in any direction; to know and unknow ourselves; to approach any situation with understanding and awareness; and to respect the sovereignity of others. It provides the basis for us to have everything and to let go of it all with gentle laughter. For we appreciate that we are at powerful play.

A Body of Work

Each of us has something to offer. We might describe that in terms of skills, qualities and abilities. Certainly, who we are being determines whether we are fulfilled, whether we are consciously using our energy to make significant contributions to the quality of life for all.

The key to fulfillment is to allow energy flow – not to control it but to allow its fullest expression. Energy (for me) is a description of movement, a measure of aliveness that we can embody.

Our physical body is quite literally our own creation. When we work on it consciously, it becomes a body of work that has our unique expression in it. To grow this body is as much an art as a science. For what goes into us is not just food – we take in experience – we feed upon the vibrations of ecstasy and joy. And what nourishes us too is our feeling for life.

The source of our body of work is an unknown power that originates in us. To use that power we must be willing to own it and be fully responsible for life, in all its forms. And that means we must be willing to live for something greater than ourselves.

We know what we need to grow. We grow the experiences that we desire. We grow the building blocks of our future from what delights us most. We grow from the celebration of life.

Self-Generated Energy Field

“It has long been known that activities of cells and tissues generate electrical fields that can be detected on the skin surface. But the laws of physics demand that any electrical current generates a corresponding magnetic field in the surrounding space.” – Science Measures the Human Energy Field

Our physical body is not the totality of who we are: who we are is nameless and undefinable – who we are is whatever we claim. It’s easy for our consciousness to be anywhere we choose. We select the space/time coordinates and we are instantly there. Of course, space and time are again just useful descriptions that provide a context for our experiences. They do not govern us or define us.

When we let go of the definition of being a human being then we can be whatever we choose. As we do that our energy expands out and the sense we get is that we fill all space. Perhaps we can say that the field of energy we generate is now no longer confined to our physical form. In fact, it seems to merge and combine with other fields of like resonance, so that a collective energy field is established.

The collective energy field is a unified force that we are part of and all of, depending on how we choose to orientate to it and what we perceive it to be. In this collective field we can know everything because we are connected to all – all knowing, all understanding, all possibilities of working together for brilliant outcomes. We may see the field as relative to this world or we may choose for it to encompass the Cosmos. It depends on the level at which we wish to operate.

Christmas gifts

December 27, 2009

Christmas Eve at our house … friends have arrived, we’ve had a vegetarian roast dinner produced by yours truly, we’ve talked about the past year, visioned what we want for 2010, and now we are into opening presents.

It’s not long before we can identify the themes. My wife has three boxes of goodies for her pink kitchen – sponges, washing-up gloves, bin bags – all pink. Mine revolves around dragons and stars.

Here is a magnificent red Chinese dragon bedecked with sparkly gold flecks. It has a strong commanding presence. You might notice (if you have razor keen eyes) that it sits on a red and gold silk brocade that depicts a Tibetan dragon.

There is something compelling about being around dragons. You have access to a magical reality that’s quite stunning in its enduring breadth of possibilities.

Dragons do not mince words. They enquire as to what you are going to do next, nudge you in the right direction, and then tell you to get on with it. I love being a dragon.

Besides my dragon candles and dragon amulet, I also receive some delightful gifts that have a star connection. There are adhesive star gels that can be affixed to windows and mirrors, but what really attracts my attention is the ability to register a star with a name of my choosing.

“Name A Star” is a product from Gift Republic. You are given the co-ordinates of your star (good luck in finding it with your telescope) and told that the name you give it will be submitted to the British Library. Of course you also learn that the name will not necessarily be recognised by any official scientific or astronomical organisations, or astronomers. Ah well … it’s the thought that counts.

What’s that you ask? What name did I give “my star”? Well, it had to be The Santari, of course. Maybe I’ll visit it someday – on the back of my dragon.

Imagine … happiness

December 27, 2009

I made a stand over a decade ago at wanting more colour for men’s underwear and socks. The drab blues, greys and blacks that were offered were quite lifeless. I wanted more options, I wanted the colour palette that children’s and women’s fashions already had, so I put into consciousness that I wanted MORE COLOUR FOR MEN.

Gradually I began seeing sharper, more edgy colours on display, and not just for underwear and socks. There was a revolution going in all sorts of areas – pink mobiles phones, pink computer mouse, pink kitchenware – I knew then that my wife was creating her own world of colour.

Well a few weeks ago we went to London and visited Uniqlo to find me a warm coat. As soon as my eyes saw the colour, the coat was mine. Here’s a photo of it. It’s neon purple, has detachable hood and sleeves, and is made from premium quality heat retaining down. Hmmm. Now that’s my colour.

The manifestation of good quality, colourful clothes for men is pretty instant these days. My wife later returned to London to do some Xmas shopping, so I received lots of other colourful goodies from Santa’s sack.

One of those items bore a tag that gave information about Pantone – a company that’s recognised as the global standard for accurately defining the exactness of a colour and enabling its reproduction throughout the graphic arts industry. Quoting a Pantone colour number tells designers and printers the exact colour they can expect to get in any medium.

But the thrust of this article continues with a short story from Pantone, written on the back of their tag. They call it “Imagine … happiness”. It fits perfectly with my feel for colour and with our vision that we can design, create, shape and order anything that we like from our boundless ingenuity and creational ability. Their language is visionary too.

Imagine a mint green land with harlequin trees. Imagine orange raindrops falling into lemon seas. Imagine red clouds dancing and swirling, mixing with the pale sky to make pink. Imagine the place at the end of the garden, where treasure is hidden. Imagine a cool brown winter. Imagine you are a dreamer. The colours of winter may not be as you imagine. Happiness is bright.

The world is a more colourful and a brighter place than when I first made my declaration to have more colour in my life. It’s also happier and more vibrant, fragrant with wonderful possibilities. Happiness is golden … and pink and avocado and neon purple and … you get the picture!!

Spirit of Christmas

December 27, 2009

There was some doubt in our house as to whether we would put up a Christmas tree this year. Generally the decorations go up in early November, but this year the first week of December had come and gone, and our trees ( all 5 of them) were still stored in the garage. We just didn’t feel the Christmas spirit.

Well we unpacked the white Christmas tree that we bought six years ago. It was dingy from dust after three years of continous display in my wife’s office. Even the sparkly garlands had lost their sheen. And some of the decorations smelt musty from being in storage. Our green trees no longer fitted in with our colour scheme and overall we sensed something seemed to be missing.

So we decided to shop – and found a stunning purple tree that goes nicely with our silver and white decor. It changed the energy in our living room immediately. Next we looked at the lights. They didn’t accord with the new tree, so three sets of lights were retired and new strings were bought in their place. The room got a colour shift.

Then the snow fell. Thick fluffy flakes came drifting on the wind one night to cover the ground two inches deep. The air grew still, as if the land was settling into another rhythm – breathing more deeply.

For me, snow has always been Christmas: a herald of great change, a bringing of abundance. I become filled with a sense of great generosity. I embody Santa.

But this year I understood that the Spirit of Christmas itself is changing. It’s becoming more of a Spirit of Celebration, telling me that it should not be confined to a special day or a special purpose, but that we should feel celebration in every moment of our lives.

It’s a new era. I sense a liberation in how we celebrate life. The Spirit of Christmas has entered a new phase – each day a gift, each moment celebrating a new birth, each of us the bringer of great munificence – bringing joy and great abundance in all things through the living of celebration.

There is much that we need to make clear to ourselves. That we understand the nature of giving. That we understand that celebration is a commitment. That we understand what we are choosing in every moment. That we choose to honour something of great value in all of us. And perhaps we should remember that, as Santa, we always have a gift for everyone.

Living the Miraculous (3)

December 6, 2009

There was a time when I wanted to do miracles, to be a healer and assist people in remaking their lives. But I knew that the process of healing itself was not in my charge and not what I really wanted to achieve. Gradually, I recognised that my desire was to facilitate amazing shifts in people and to encourage phenomenal growth in collective consciousness.

For that to happen, I needed to work with energy in many different ways, allowing myself to become -

  • the practitioner, who physically aligns and attunes people to a greater sense of themselves;
  • the singer, who sounds people’s essence and activates in them an ecstatic relationship with life;
  • the writer, who writes about where we come from and the work that we can do together;
  • the choreographer, who weaves qualities of  greatness into people’s experiences of life.

Through working with energy, I could understand others in terms of energy. Could understand what needed to happen energetically and then provide them with appropriate insights, to further their growth.

Life now is magical, stupendous, and beyond imagining … and that’s normal. So perhaps my definition of the miraculous is more along the lines of being able to see brilliance and magnificence everywhere. It’s a quality much in demand!

There is a practical usage to seeing magnificence. During this year I’ve developed a way of perceiving patterns of energy. Generally I look at an area inside someone’s body and receive impressions about how their energy moves and what that indicates. By perceiving their physical body as a moving picture of light and energy, I can assist people to increase their knowing of themselves.

Last month, in Melbourne, I spent some time with my friend Peter. He sensed that there was something missing from his life which could lead him to his next level. So I looked for the flame of life inside him. There it was, faint at first, two tongues of fire that became four as I watched.

I described their movement: how the energy moved one way and then another. Spoke about the colours. Sensed that the energy could be put into song and sang it, noticing how the singing made the flame stronger and more vibrant. Finally, I released the song inside his body so that he could feel the vibrancy of it more keenly.

The whole experience probably took no more than 5 minutes but the effect was dramatic and powerful. Peter tuned into his experience of the singing and what he could feel of the energy movement. He said it was like a golden disc had been placed around his neck – a symbol of power that he then activated.

Here is what Peter says of the experience -

“The first notes were a surprise. Like seeing your reflection unexpectedly. You suddenly ‘see’ something, which startles, followed by the recognition that, hey, this is YOU. Quite disconcerting. Quite amazing. Quite a discovery. Yet the recognition of self was, for me, unmistakable.

That led me to a degree of comfort with it all, and I allowed the playfulness of it to happen. I don’t recollect much of external things from here on in. The inside journey was much more riveting and it possessed all of my attention. My eyes were wide open, but I saw nothing of the space around me. I simply wasn’t there. Well, I was, but… consciousness wasn’t.

The world has certainly been different since that journey. I expect it will continue changing for some time yet to come.”

The power of what we can be and claim to be is beyond words. Nonetheless, we need to be bold and declare what we know is true – claim the power of what lies dormant, waiting to be revealed – for to own less is to live less.     IT IS TIME TO LIVE THE MIRACULOUS.
