Decisions

January 31, 2010

My good friend, Erika Harris, posted an insightful entry on her blog recently entitled “Got a decision to make? This might help.” She had a dream in which she was presented with 3 paths or choices and she discovered that, as she walked along any of the paths, her walking would light up that path.

She concluded that there are no wrong turns or bad decisions.

Her article set me thinking along several lines of thought.

  1. That in the true nature of our being there is no need for regret of presumed wrong turns.
  2. That in the true nature of our being we never make mistakes or wrong decisions.
  3. That we already chose outcomes for ourselves regardless of any decision we appear to make.
  4. That in order to live fully here, we need to commit to living the true nature of our being.

What then, you might ask, is the true nature of our being?

I knew you’d ask that question. It’s what I’d ask too. So, what the heck – here goes!

The true nature of our being is that undeniable force of consciousness that says “What you really want is already here – so accept it. Who you want to be is already here – so be it. What you seek to create is already being created – so enjoy it.” Or something along those lines. It’s what we know to be true as we surrender everything that we believe we are and all that we are about.

So if there are no wrong turns or bad judgments then do we need to make decisions at all?

My feeling is that decision-making is not a thought based action – it’s more like allowing ourselves to have fun, to do whatever we feel called to, dancing in the power of what wants to happen. Perhaps, as Erika observed, it’s more about following the fun and being light with the steps that we take. Wherever we go is into unimaginable territory where we must allow ourselves to feel the rightness of every step we take. Wherever we go is into the realm of the infinitely expansive – and every step is completely liberating.

My friend Kerim has this to say about making choices “it is all coming straight this way, and all I have to do is loosen a little bit, honour where I am, and let it come in the time that it will.”

To which I add ~ let’s just enjoy and explore what we do as we co-create amazing things in our time together.

Living in the Joy

January 19, 2010

Just finished a phone call with my friend Karina in Melbourne. She was telling me about her Masters Thesis on Autism. Tomorrow she plans to visit the parents of an autistic child and ask their permission for their daughter to be used as her case study. I helped Karina find the words that she might say to them. The right approach is always energetic – never intellectual. So we looked at the reasons why she is doing her thesis. It comes from passion and a desire that people be more conscious of the nature and gift of autism. That parents can understand their autistic children and deeply love them for who they are and what they exemplify of life.

So, I said to her, come at this from a place of enthusiastically wanting to explore the significance of what autism is, of feeling how it represents a level of communication that is deeply exciting and inspiring in its own right.

To engage with autistic children is an adventure, in which you navigate the fun and joy of their world of hyper-speed multi-level activity. By being open to them and willing to dance in their field of expansive energy, you can communicate with them more quickly and effectively than trying to understand what’s going on.

“Yes,” she said, realising that she can really communicate the power of what she feels without the drag of trying to explain it. “I don’t need to control what’s happening – the secret is living in the joy of every moment of every single day.”

Tanya’s vision

January 12, 2010

My beautiful friend, Tanya, shared some writing with me, which I reproduce here with her permission. Recently she stayed with Soleira and myself, and had experiences in which she encountered herself as a warrior queen, a fairy princess, and a Goddess Priestess – all representations of power and authority. (Did I mention that magical stuff happens in our home?) Her transformational shift led her to know herself as a magical being who radiates magical reality. In this writing, she owns who she has become … and the dragon that she mentions is her magical consort (!).

This is what I wrote to her after reading her vision of herself.

“There’s such power in it and, for me, accurately describes the movement of this time. Such fluency andĀ  Grace, personified in physical form – dancing the exquisite joy of being, radiating the reality of the trueness of being. You are revealing and unveiling the Beauty that stands forth, proud and defiant in its own exultancy. So bring it on, girl. Let’s see what life is readying to become!!! “

Now read on …

She closes her eyes and the truth of her lived reality manifests in shimmering grace within and through her, stretching out into infinite existence, reverberating, resonating throughout frequencies, shifting realities, visions, possibilities, and more.

The union between the two – the Goddess Priestess/ warrior queen/ fairy princess and her magnificent dragon: her shapeshifting glimmering partner of Creation, born and perpetuated in orgasmic ecstatic rippling waves of sound and touch, colour and tasteĀ  – creates within and through itself possibilities and potentials for the cosmoses, as of yet undreamt, unimagined…

Every fold of her dress, every footfall, every glance, enlivens the fabric of Being that is touched upon. It is by the Grace bestowed upon and through them that magical reality springs forth in its abundant joyfulness. All that come within their presence feel the Truth, the power, the blissful, exuberant passion of their own essence. As they walk through Life, Life responds in an exuberant song of joy and endless possibility. To know them is to know yourself.

Every moment becomes a work of art.

Every movement embodied Grace.

Every word uttered a song in and of itself, creating endless waves of possibility.

Every atom of their existence calls forth the natural magnificence of all Beings, Everywhere.

They partner in exquisite harmony with the purest essence of Life Source, with that which wants to happen.

They trust and surrender to it, becoming it fully in All time and space. They embrace their Godness, and in doing so, the heavens part and magical reality is known to ALL, through all time.

We are here now.

Grace and Ease.

Hope and Joy.

Power and Authority.

Passion and Exuberance.

I bathe in thee. I embody thee. I walk as thee.

Magical creational reality.

I am thee!!!

Tanyaliciousness is born!!!!

Shaping the being

January 11, 2010

Yep, that’s me, just getting the base ready for my snowman. I had to wait until the snow had enough consistency so that I could roll it and shape it. Just like building a sandcastle – you need the right mix of water for the structure to hold and take shape.

Soleira couldn’t be tempted out of the house. Too cold, she said. Wrap up well, said I. I’m fine here, she replied, snapping photos through my office window.

I did have a wild thought that we might have a snow-fight, but then, I’m the adventurous lets-build-a-snowman one and she is the I’ll stay-by-the-fire one.

Still, I had a lot of fun out there. It was just too tempting. I hadn’t messed around in snow since my army days in Norway over 30 years ago. But that’s another story.

My snowman building had a purpose to it. I was drawn outside for a good reason – and that was to physically shape something with my hands.

I’ve been working on my physicality for a long time. I’ve focused on reshaping my physical experience of life. I’ve allowed my once muscular build to be replaced by a more graceful athleticism and suppleness. Yes, I’ve watched the transformation with interest, not concern, simply allowing desired changes to occur, and now I’m working upon heightening my feelings for life.

I know it’s possible for me to be in a state of joy and for my friends to feel the resonance of that, even on the other side of the world. I’m at work on creating the physical delight of life as an energy-conscious experience, rather than another day of slugging it out.

It’s not about interpretation – it’s about physically aligning our beingness to the quality of living that we wish to embody.

Can you literally create life with the essence of joy in every cell fully active?

I leave the question for others to ponder, for I have my answer.

But back to that snowman. When he was finished, I found that my hands automatically started to smooth off the excess snow. I wanted him to have a crafted finish. Nothing more than that.

I’m fascinated by how much I’ve changed my awareness of how I work. At one time, I would have breathed life into my creations, thinking that they were created as inanimate. But now I see that life exists in every moment, in every action. And that the quality of that life is being shaped by every wisp of consciousness.

So here’s to the building of more snowmen and to the conscious shaping of our lives!!!

The Commitment

January 3, 2010

The New Year has barely yawned and today (Sunday 3rd) I had one of those moments when I could feel the poetry of life just pouring from my lips. It happened during a telephone coaching session, in which a friend asked me what steps she could take to change her reality.

I made two lists. On the first list, I told her, were all the things that she allowed to define her reality for her. The second list contained key points that she could focus on to create what she wanted for herself. On this second list was the need for a sense of self.

A sense of self is vital in developing our passion, body of work, or whatever we are here for. As I explained to my friend, (knowing her great desire to help others but at the cost of being herself), our first commitment is to be here.

To be here requires every single facet of our being, and each facet needs to be woven into a luxurious celebration of life.

We can’t do that by worrying about others, giving energy to them, or being self-sacrificing. We must choose ourselves.

I say ‘choose’ but I really mean ‘commit’. To make a commitment is more powerful than making a choice. “You have a duty to commit to yourself,” I told my friend, “for when you do so then you will know your own worth and you will focus on those powerful aspects of yourself that are not being lived at present.”

I then outlined the characteristics of the woman that I could see her becoming. That woman was strong, focused, and able to see into the essence of every single being; knowing their worth and calling for them to step into their own commitment to life. The kindness and caring that I saw in her was managed with grace and a total awareness of how the beauty of life is revealed in the most exquisite of structures. That woman had presence and that presence was power – the power of awareness – a symbol for what is ready to emerge into the reality of people everywhere.

When the seeing and the words line up and connect with the desire,
then the commitment follows.

My final words to my friend just had to be written down for her to read again and again, so that she could create herself with more conscious awareness of what she is saying ‘yes’ to.

“I will never ever again feel that I am not powerful and resourceful in my own right.”

Hours later and I am still in awe of what I experienced for the power of it was so strong. The making of a commitment and the living in the power of what arises from that commitment is truly an awesome experience.

Year of Celebration

January 1, 2010

So we made it here. This year, unlike any other that we have experienced. What did it feel like as you awoke to the new day; what do you experience already in this dreamtime of 2010?

I feel amazed, astounded, captivated and totally satisfied. Enjoying an all over physical delight of being connected to all things. There is a state of certainty now that our future from this moment on is glorious.

We have much to celebrate. The physical changes that are taking place in our race are alerting us to our connectedness. Connectedness to all life in this world – to the energy that dances in the air around us; to the consciousness of those that have died and those waiting to be born; to the intelligence of other forms of life on other worlds; and to the growing awareness of the seeds of possibilities that are germinating in us.

This is a time for inspiring conversation, such as the world has never before witnessed, and a time for magnanimous acts of great kindness and caring. For in the totality of our connection there is only that which is inspired from the desire to create joyously and willingly, with consideration for the greatest good of all.

Do you have a vision for 2010? I have. It is simple and clear. It is dedicated to the growing of our connections within ourselves and to each other. Here’s an extract from a telecall made 2 days ago where my words just tumble out.

“I want people to fall in love with themselves, totally and completely. Quite often people ignore themselves and I want them to realise their value … to think about themselves as a gift, as a gift to the whole race.

If every person saw themselves as a gift, that they brought their full measure of contribution forward and really burst open the cells of all their own restrictions, I’m sure people would come into love with themselves and be full of such jubilation and joy that they wouldn’t stop.

They would be so animated, so energised, so full on … wanting to live, wanting to give people everything they have … that they find that in the sense of giving they are actually receiving themselves, over and over and over again.

So for me 2010 is about this beautiful gift of people to themselves and to be able to celebrate life in the most gorgeous of ways. Being conscious of our physicality, loving our bodies and relishing who we really are, and what we really see of ourselves.

For me, the inner vision is the most important thing. If you have the inner vision then you have yourself, in life, living life, creating the reality of beauty, of grace, of abundance, of luxuriant living – and you realise you have it all already. And now is the time to bring it on and really celebrate it in its fullest.”

Now please add your vision and/or dedication for 2010 in the comment box below.
