The Way of Dragons

I have had this thought of writing a book about dragons for around 2 years now. A few weeks ago, I entered this phase of experiencing (what for me) are radical physical changes. I lost my senses of taste and smell temporarily, and began to see that I was growing myself in a new way.
It inspired the opening pages of this new book, entitled “The Way of Dragons”. Though I have no plot or structure for it, and the characters have yet to emerge, it does represent a fresh interpretation of life. A coming to terms with being born into physicality, after arriving from a place that has no name. Sound familiar to anyone?
Even if a few pages only are written, it is a joy to write them. So now, read on …

Leaves from a Poet-tree

Last November (or thereabouts) I wrote some poetry that was not in my usual style – but something wanted to be written.
As I look at these gems again, I see that there is merit in what I wrote. And I hope that someone will feel touched by these leaves from a poet-tree, these stars in the Cosmic Sky that drifted down to Earth …
Greater Than One
Love is the movement of all hearts
and the quickness of all breaths,
to help remind you of the JOY
from lifting your inner eyes to unknown landscapes,
and hearing with unbidden senses what lies
in the Peace of your eternal vigilance.
And when you know this, your body burns
with the fire of passion that is unending,
even as your quest for journeying is eternal.
To share your life is to touch the essence of the substance
that you know is already you, is already us,
knowing that it is a thought that you share
for the sum of the parts is always One
though you will still endeavour to make it Greater Than ONE.
The Alchemy
You remember the nature of all things through the Alchemy.
The Alchemy of your knowing touch.
For when you remember how to touch, ever so lightly,
then the vibrations of the mixing and merging patterns
will murmur amongst themselves and speak to you,
that you can hear and be taught their language -
The Language of All Things -
that lies beneath the threshold
of what you call your life.
A Growing Desire
I have a Growing Desire, a need to be understood.
I would not tell everyone this, only I knew you would
get me completely, understand what I try to say,
when these faltering words that I utter
seem to go far astray.
I’m wondering what is the reason for the things I say and do,
for I care little about etiquette
and know you don’t too.
It’s trying to see the sense, and reason my life away,
that seems to cause patterns of chaos
and conflict every day.
What is this growing desire I ask
that makes me want to move
the whole of the grand scheme of things -
of things I did not choose.
Maybe, the desire is solely to shape it all my way
so that I can breathe more freely
and say what I want to say.

Perfect World

Meet Santomai Yan. Rather handsome fellow, isn’t he? He is me – or I should say he is one of my representatives in Hero of Three Kingdoms (HOTK), an Internet based mutilplayer game.
On first sight it feels like being in ‘Second Life’: you move with certain keys, you get to meet nice people, etc. But hang on, like many of the online games produced by Perfect World, this is all about ACTION and having ADVENTURES … “that transcend your imagination“.
I’m ready for my first quest but before I go, I will tell you something about this realm, so you might be tempted to create a character or two yourself and see what’s on offer.
This is one of several intricate fantasy worlds – as rich, varied and as inviting as Tolkien’s ‘Lord of the Rings’. You create your characters, send them on quests, give them attributes.
In HOTK there are 8 crafts that you may master. My favourite is the Enchanting skill. The description of it says that it’s used to reduce items to their basic elements, manipulating their essence to formulate mystical gems.
Well I already know a few things about working with essence, as I’m sure you do. But the game draws you in, as you realise that you have much to learn before you go off to fight a battle.
You see everything with wonder here, growing your knowledge of how things work, and gaining a sense of gameplay. And in these games there is everything to play for. But that’s how you live your life anyway – right?
And wait … I can recommend also that you have a look at Perfect World International Genesis. This realm is found at http://pwi.perfectworld.com/interstitial. There you will meet a class of character called The Mystic.
An intelligent and versatile protector of the planet, this poised magic-user absorbs surrounding energies and unleashes them in a manner to her liking, whether it be a warm, healing glow, or a vicious kinetic bolt.
Sure hope you take some time off from your day job to excite your imagination and explore new uncharted landscapes. Maybe I’ll see you in one of these memorable worlds someday!
Constructing reality

Reality creation is such an interesting phenomenon. I recall (from when my years could still be counted in single digits) seeing an Agatha Christie movie that was really scary to me. Later that night, I woke from a nightmare in which I had replayed some of the more grisly scenes. My mother explained that not all the stuff on TV was ‘real’, but back then there was no conversation about consciousness or reality creation, and nothing to help a child create their life as a magical being.
It’s taken many years to discover what is ‘real’ and true for me. I’m no longer automatically drawn into everybody’s picture of reality, seeking to find my part in it. I’ve learned that I can create a knowing of myself and others that is so real and tangible that it can affect the lived reality of every single being.
At first I tried holding a space for people to step into their greatness, then there was a seeing of them being their greatness, having them embody that greatness, engaging with their greatness, along with many other wonderful progressions.
But in the latest round of reality creation we are living in the fabric of greatness itself, creating our collective reality from here. It’s a space of brilliance and magnificence, where tremendous collective growth is achievable. And all it takes is to recognise that the world is already created that way. We can borrow from quantum theory and say that anything can be anything that you want to experience!
The real world is whatever we make of the information that we can sense. The reality is whatever we create/construct from the information that we access, evaluate, and consider to be useful. To quote from my friend, Jo Brill -
“The power to imagine is infinite. Each of us is capable of imagining the most amazing possibilities and potential. When we take a desire – a wish for something to be different and we connect to our imagining of what that would look like, we imaginate – we actually create it in consciousness. It is created. We imaginate with all of our cells and our being. We know that we have power beyond what has been scientifically proven. We imaginate and then we say that it is done. It comes from a clear place within us. There is knowing. We imaginate with a clear and focused transmission. When I notice or sense that something is wanted, I take a moment to imaginate it into what it could be.”
Once you realise the simplicity of how things operate then you naturally move towards what really works for you. You discard anything than doesn’t accord with your desire to communicate and broadcast throughout creation. And, of course, Creation will be whatever we say it is!

“In each moment, each interaction is unique and to be created in that moment, so there is no ‘this is the way’ things are, as it is all totally created moment by moment. It is only what we are ‘used’ to that makes some reality seem more real than others.”
Time to take a moment to reflect what we learned from watching Neo operate in ‘The Matrix’.
You most definitely create your reality, and when you put yourself totally in your reality creation with full commitment (and all your superpowers) then you are an unstoppable force.
You are capable of being anything that you choose, at any level that you wish to operate.
When you are the collective force there is no ‘I’. There is perfection being made in its most beautiful forms in endless wonder. And WE ARE that endless wonder.

A New Adventure

“I need a new adventure,” Soleira said to me on my return from Melbourne, “I’ve done all I want to say and do, now I need something new.” Then she proceeded to tell me what she expected from 2011. My ears pricked up with excitement and I remember thinking that I was ready for the challenge.
A few days later I felt an intense energy come into my head, almost as if it just dropped in. It marked the start of a 3 week period of change and transformation that has now physically completed. Whew!! As shifts go, it hasn’t been easy, marking the end of one year and the transition into something new. You may have experienced some of these symptoms yourself in recent weeks -
- temporary loss of taste and smell
- relentless cough
- deep tiredness in your body
- broken sleep
- loss of power in your voice
Yes, this was a very eventful transition for me. So what have I learned from it, I ask myself?
Firstly, I had to focus on my physicality from a new angle. When so much change takes place beyond your normal control, you have to ask what you are experiencing – and why. For the first few days I could eat very little, my appetite just vanished, and that reminded me to be watchful about what I eat. I had to review what is actually required by my body.
For the past few months I knew that sometimes I didn’t need to eat, but I would eat because Soleira wanted her meals earlier. Now we are really clear about our eating preferences – it’s become important that we honour what our bodies are actually saying: that applies to timing of meals, food portions, food preferences, and quality of food. I am more watchful than ever about my need for eating and I’m finding that I actually need very little. I’m also better at balancing my perceived needs with my actual needs – because I can align with what I know is true.
Of course, this review also applies to body image and self image. I guess I’m developing a more real association with who I see myself in physical reality. As I dealt with the days of coughing, I had to relax into knowing that I was strengthening my inner reality; had to give my body credit for leading me into a deepening relationship with myself. If I’ve learned anything at all it’s that the process of change is a chance for rediscovery and reinterpretation of everything – finding that the origin of any change really does source from inside, and that I can negotiate what that looks like.
My sense of magic is becoming more physical based. When I live the magic ~ then everything else surrenders to that. As if I needed to be reminded that logic and magic are quite distinctly different ways of living. That my logic informs me about future possibilities based upon present and past experiences. But my magical awareness tells me that I am a being who creates from a place of infinite possibilities, where those normal laws of logic have no power to dictate what can be so. In the magic, there is a sense of completeness and rightness: a looking at life as a stream of energy that is perfect in itself, and requires total collaboration from you in order for you to achieve the seemingly impossible.
We are in a new year adventure … and in this year, the seemingly impossible and unthinkable
has a chance to be collectively achievable, because our conscious connectivity
is perfectly aligned to our magical knowing of what’s really so.
