The Growing Space
August 8, 2010
Towering up to 8 feet high, these giant sunflowers are flourishing in my garden. They symbolise this summer’s abundance. It’s been a very hot season and (apart from this past week) the flowers and vegetables have needed watering 3 times a day, to stop the ground from getting too parched.
Lucy, a 13 year old, came to visit and bemoaned that her sunflowers had wilted and died. Did you water them, I asked? I didn’t think you needed to, she replied.
much shaking of head and suppressed smile
Over the years, I’ve taught myself how to look after plants and find out what they need in order to grow well. I’ve seen that to get best results you need to tune into them and encourage their growth, rather than just leave them and hope they will make it by themselves.
To me, the care of anything is about providing the optimum growing space and sustenance for it.
Several people have asked me recently how they can sustain their energy (and their expanded sense of self) after a teleclass, workshop or coaching session with me. My answer is invariably the same – you claim your authority to be here, you apply your energy to the life that you wish to live, and then you walk in the power of your authority. That simple advice works well, just like watering plants that are in need of a pick-up. But now I’m showing people how to create and maintain the space for their growth and their world/cosmic visions – and that requires something special.
I’m writing about a creative space experience in which fantastically brilliant, magical possibilities emerge.
It requires special attention. Each of us have specialities that need to be recognised, owned and put into action. For example, my friend Liz came to do a workshop and we discovered that she is a natural cosmic designer, a term that suited her well and gave her permission to own her flamboyancy. She loves design work, so we looked at practical ways for her to develop a life design consultancy practice.
First, she stepped fully into her new role and engaged the vastness of her energy field. She learned what it is to be a cosmic being: to feel and embrace the extensiveness of what she was stepping into; to see that her thinking now had more perspective; that she had a richer context for her life.
Then she discovered the nature of her work – to help people design a new way of being. So she energetically redesigned her own life experience to match her cosmic identity. As a cosmic designer she could drop her human facade of being small and unsure, in order to take on a role that had bigger energetic possibilities, where she no longer reacted to situations because now she could design her experiences according to how she wanted to live them.
Yes, I enjoy working with people to have them discover the qualities of living that they really wish to experience. That is so different from experiencing life in the same way over and over again. There is a conscious need to design exciting, fresh, and original creations. To nurture ourselves by using our energies to their fullest, for whatever body of work we are engaged in growing. And to realise that we are cosmic beings engaged on a redesign of life.
This is a time for creative cosmic gardening. You just don’t know what’s ready to emerge in your growing space.
Just in Case
March 3, 2010
I write these few words as an encouragement to others, who may be finding these days a little bit physically demanding. Just in case this gives some additional insight.
A friend recently celebrated her birthday and I sent her an e-card. In reply she said that she had just been in hospital with a suspected heart attack and high blood pressure. I was more than surprised. During the last few weeks I’ve heard similar reports about other physical challenges that are pressing people to reconsider what they are actually experiencing.
So, in the spirit of curiosity, I sent her back this email to get to the nub of the matter.
There are big physical changes happening and we are all feeling it in different ways – muscle tension, increased vibration, spaciness, sensory expansion, etc. So can we add suspected heart attack to the list?
It’s never what you think it is. How about considering all this as energetic expansion?
This is her reply -
Santari, that is too funny.
Honestly I don’t think for one minute I’ve had a heart attack, in fact if anything, I think it was the energetic expansion of the heart – not just in me but in the whole – and the high blood pressure is the excitement of all that’s new on the horizon, because there is definitely a lot of new beckoning and I’m up for it. By medical reports on the weekend I should be dead, but not this lady, too much to do and enjoy doing. It’s great. No worries.
My own particular thoughts are that we are energetically expanding from the inside: that we have only to relax and enjoy the changes taking place, and experience with delight our own unfoldment.
Here’s to the new – may it always be exciting and may we remember what excitement feels like.

Valentine’s Day
February 14, 2010
“Happy Valentine’s Day”, my wife placed a red envelope in my hand as I stirred groggily from sleep. “Is it really that day?” I asked, not feeling at all guilty that I’d totally forgotten the occasion. I thought it was still the 13th. Oops!!
I read the card and closed my eyes, savouring it, then I decided to share the vague impressions of a dream that I’d just woken up from. “I am triumphant,” I said to her. “I managed to do something that nobody else has ever done before. It feels like a game was being played and I achieved something remarkable in it that changes everything.”
Yes, I was elated from the dream and loved the synchronicity of having this card to mark that.
We shared a long moment of not speaking, just being together, and then got up from bed. We are quite short on conversations generally – when you share things in the way that we do then there’s not much need for words.
Still, as she ran her shower, I hastened to the adjoining office and switched on my computer, intending to send her a Valentine’s e-card. We have an agreement that we don’t spend much, if at all, on cards. For us, the most important thing is to share how we feel in the moment. And that’s something that I’m very bold in doing.
Years ago I would hand-make cards using digital photos from our photo gallery but I’m less inspired to do that anymore. I’m more inclined to employ the talents of people who are skilled in graphic design. And I wanted the best.
A few minutes later and I clicked on the blue mountain website, found the magical fairy card, added my words and sent it. I know that the magic we can generate is so beautifully touching and effective that it completely encapsulates and offers our feelings, beyond any words that accompany this special day.
But don’t feel left out. Click the link above and know that I sent it to you too – look it’s in your etheric mailbox. Did you get it?
Living in the Joy
January 19, 2010
Just finished a phone call with my friend Karina in Melbourne. She was telling me about her Masters Thesis on Autism. Tomorrow she plans to visit the parents of an autistic child and ask their permission for their daughter to be used as her case study. I helped Karina find the words that she might say to them. The right approach is always energetic – never intellectual. So we looked at the reasons why she is doing her thesis. It comes from passion and a desire that people be more conscious of the nature and gift of autism. That parents can understand their autistic children and deeply love them for who they are and what they exemplify of life.
So, I said to her, come at this from a place of enthusiastically wanting to explore the significance of what autism is, of feeling how it represents a level of communication that is deeply exciting and inspiring in its own right.
To engage with autistic children is an adventure, in which you navigate the fun and joy of their world of hyper-speed multi-level activity. By being open to them and willing to dance in their field of expansive energy, you can communicate with them more quickly and effectively than trying to understand what’s going on.
“Yes,” she said, realising that she can really communicate the power of what she feels without the drag of trying to explain it. “I don’t need to control what’s happening – the secret is living in the joy of every moment of every single day.”

Tanya’s vision
January 12, 2010
My beautiful friend, Tanya, shared some writing with me, which I reproduce here with her permission. Recently she stayed with Soleira and myself, and had experiences in which she encountered herself as a warrior queen, a fairy princess, and a Goddess Priestess – all representations of power and authority. (Did I mention that magical stuff happens in our home?) Her transformational shift led her to know herself as a magical being who radiates magical reality. In this writing, she owns who she has become … and the dragon that she mentions is her magical consort (!).
This is what I wrote to her after reading her vision of herself.
“There’s such power in it and, for me, accurately describes the movement of this time. Such fluency and Grace, personified in physical form – dancing the exquisite joy of being, radiating the reality of the trueness of being. You are revealing and unveiling the Beauty that stands forth, proud and defiant in its own exultancy. So bring it on, girl. Let’s see what life is readying to become!!! “
Now read on …
She closes her eyes and the truth of her lived reality manifests in shimmering grace within and through her, stretching out into infinite existence, reverberating, resonating throughout frequencies, shifting realities, visions, possibilities, and more.
The union between the two – the Goddess Priestess/ warrior queen/ fairy princess and her magnificent dragon: her shapeshifting glimmering partner of Creation, born and perpetuated in orgasmic ecstatic rippling waves of sound and touch, colour and taste – creates within and through itself possibilities and potentials for the cosmoses, as of yet undreamt, unimagined…
Every fold of her dress, every footfall, every glance, enlivens the fabric of Being that is touched upon. It is by the Grace bestowed upon and through them that magical reality springs forth in its abundant joyfulness. All that come within their presence feel the Truth, the power, the blissful, exuberant passion of their own essence. As they walk through Life, Life responds in an exuberant song of joy and endless possibility. To know them is to know yourself.
Every moment becomes a work of art.
Every movement embodied Grace.
Every word uttered a song in and of itself, creating endless waves of possibility.
Every atom of their existence calls forth the natural magnificence of all Beings, Everywhere.
They partner in exquisite harmony with the purest essence of Life Source, with that which wants to happen.
They trust and surrender to it, becoming it fully in All time and space. They embrace their Godness, and in doing so, the heavens part and magical reality is known to ALL, through all time.
We are here now.
Grace and Ease.
Hope and Joy.
Power and Authority.
Passion and Exuberance.
I bathe in thee. I embody thee. I walk as thee.
Magical creational reality.
I am thee!!!
Tanyaliciousness is born!!!!

Christmas gifts
December 27, 2009
Christmas Eve at our house … friends have arrived, we’ve had a vegetarian roast dinner produced by yours truly, we’ve talked about the past year, visioned what we want for 2010, and now we are into opening presents.
It’s not long before we can identify the themes. My wife has three boxes of goodies for her pink kitchen – sponges, washing-up gloves, bin bags – all pink. Mine revolves around dragons and stars.
Here is a magnificent red Chinese dragon bedecked with sparkly gold flecks. It has a strong commanding presence. You might notice (if you have razor keen eyes) that it sits on a red and gold silk brocade that depicts a Tibetan dragon.
There is something compelling about being around dragons. You have access to a magical reality that’s quite stunning in its enduring breadth of possibilities.
Dragons do not mince words. They enquire as to what you are going to do next, nudge you in the right direction, and then tell you to get on with it. I love being a dragon.
Besides my dragon candles and dragon amulet, I also receive some delightful gifts that have a star connection. There are adhesive star gels that can be affixed to windows and mirrors, but what really attracts my attention is the ability to register a star with a name of my choosing.
“Name A Star” is a product from Gift Republic. You are given the co-ordinates of your star (good luck in finding it with your telescope) and told that the name you give it will be submitted to the British Library. Of course you also learn that the name will not necessarily be recognised by any official scientific or astronomical organisations, or astronomers. Ah well … it’s the thought that counts.
What’s that you ask? What name did I give “my star”? Well, it had to be The Santari, of course. Maybe I’ll visit it someday – on the back of my dragon.
Imagine … happiness
December 27, 2009
I made a stand over a decade ago at wanting more colour for men’s underwear and socks. The drab blues, greys and blacks that were offered were quite lifeless. I wanted more options, I wanted the colour palette that children’s and women’s fashions already had, so I put into consciousness that I wanted MORE COLOUR FOR MEN.
Gradually I began seeing sharper, more edgy colours on display, and not just for underwear and socks. There was a revolution going in all sorts of areas – pink mobiles phones, pink computer mouse, pink kitchenware – I knew then that my wife was creating her own world of colour.
Well a few weeks ago we went to London and visited Uniqlo to find me a warm coat. As soon as my eyes saw the colour, the coat was mine. Here’s a photo of it. It’s neon purple, has detachable hood and sleeves, and is made from premium quality heat retaining down. Hmmm. Now that’s my colour.
The manifestation of good quality, colourful clothes for men is pretty instant these days. My wife later returned to London to do some Xmas shopping, so I received lots of other colourful goodies from Santa’s sack.
One of those items bore a tag that gave information about Pantone – a company that’s recognised as the global standard for accurately defining the exactness of a colour and enabling its reproduction throughout the graphic arts industry. Quoting a Pantone colour number tells designers and printers the exact colour they can expect to get in any medium.
But the thrust of this article continues with a short story from Pantone, written on the back of their tag. They call it “Imagine … happiness”. It fits perfectly with my feel for colour and with our vision that we can design, create, shape and order anything that we like from our boundless ingenuity and creational ability. Their language is visionary too.

Imagine a mint green land with harlequin trees. Imagine orange raindrops falling into lemon seas. Imagine red clouds dancing and swirling, mixing with the pale sky to make pink. Imagine the place at the end of the garden, where treasure is hidden. Imagine a cool brown winter. Imagine you are a dreamer. The colours of winter may not be as you imagine. Happiness is bright.

The world is a more colourful and a brighter place than when I first made my declaration to have more colour in my life. It’s also happier and more vibrant, fragrant with wonderful possibilities. Happiness is golden … and pink and avocado and neon purple and … you get the picture!!

Spirit of Christmas
December 27, 2009
There was some doubt in our house as to whether we would put up a Christmas tree this year. Generally the decorations go up in early November, but this year the first week of December had come and gone, and our trees ( all 5 of them) were still stored in the garage. We just didn’t feel the Christmas spirit.
Well we unpacked the white Christmas tree that we bought six years ago. It was dingy from dust after three years of continous display in my wife’s office. Even the sparkly garlands had lost their sheen. And some of the decorations smelt musty from being in storage. Our green trees no longer fitted in with our colour scheme and overall we sensed something seemed to be missing.
So we decided to shop – and found a stunning purple tree that goes nicely with our silver and white decor. It changed the energy in our living room immediately. Next we looked at the lights. They didn’t accord with the new tree, so three sets of lights were retired and new strings were bought in their place. The room got a colour shift.
Then the snow fell. Thick fluffy flakes came drifting on the wind one night to cover the ground two inches deep. The air grew still, as if the land was settling into another rhythm – breathing more deeply.
For me, snow has always been Christmas: a herald of great change, a bringing of abundance. I become filled with a sense of great generosity. I embody Santa.
But this year I understood that the Spirit of Christmas itself is changing. It’s becoming more of a Spirit of Celebration, telling me that it should not be confined to a special day or a special purpose, but that we should feel celebration in every moment of our lives.
It’s a new era. I sense a liberation in how we celebrate life. The Spirit of Christmas has entered a new phase – each day a gift, each moment celebrating a new birth, each of us the bringer of great munificence – bringing joy and great abundance in all things through the living of celebration.
There is much that we need to make clear to ourselves. That we understand the nature of giving. That we understand that celebration is a commitment. That we understand what we are choosing in every moment. That we choose to honour something of great value in all of us. And perhaps we should remember that, as Santa, we always have a gift for everyone.
Seed Memories
September 19, 2009
I am 57 years old – or so my history would tell me from linear memory, from birth certificate, and from parentage. But I remember different. I have other memories of far-off places, traces of other lifetimes, and a greater knowing of myself that I’m getting more and more able to claim.
Seed memories I call them. Moments around which other memories are formed, legends are made, and stories born from our picture of what is true and what we claim is true.
We invent and create our histories, so that we might become the fullness of ourselves, testing the mettle of our choices. Until the time comes when we are firm and mature, able to stand in the winds of change, and able to share what we have grown.
My seed memories have allowed me to grow because they have a strong basis in my consciousness. Through them I am able to change my knowing of myself and be an amazing being, doing things that would otherwise be impossible to imagine.
I recollect one such memory – of being brought to consciousness in this current life. I recollect that it was important for me to remember what I was capable of achieving. That I stay awake and not fall asleep to dream an unconscious life. The spur – to stay awake and be conscious – was in knowing that I had been called, knowing that I had purpose and work to do, knowing that it was imperative to do the work that I was brought here for.
The guidance I had was simple and clear – you are created from the limitlessness and can become whoever you need to be, and can create in whatever way what the fullness of life desires to be made. For the memory and the form would find itself, and new life could be given from a seed, an immortal seed, that promises to unlock all possibilities of greatness in us.
This is the time of greatness. A time in which we are revealed. That nothing is held back, that we give of the fullness of ourselves, to help one another shape a world that is fully conscious and no longer resting in its own dreams.
So what are your seed memories, I ask?
Imagining the Wonderful
August 30, 2009
A lot of thoughts and feelings buzzed through me as I examined the photos that my good friend Susan had sent.
Susan is in her 60′s and is exploring her own creative story of what life is about. Her work with clay is daring and original, yet what I find most wonderful is her interpretation and imagination that turns the mundane into the magical.
The photo below shows her most recent project, entitled ‘The Inner Planetary Incubation/Feeding/Imagineering System’.

The Inner Planetary System
Here is her description of how it came about …
“The (back) wall had a lot of pipes and meters and did not say anything except utilitarian. Last summer I looked at it and decided that something needed to be done.
The energy as Erik and I worked on it was magical. We worked on it at night when it was cooler, and we dipped in and out of the pool to cool down and have think time.
It felt like one of the GREAT vacations that one takes. Friends would stop by and give input. Some I took, others I smiled at and put on the back burner. Wonderful food. It was VERY much the way I see the new world working. Lots of ease, grace and a ton of joy, plus lots of new ways of looking at things!”
And here is her story of what it’s all about …
“All of the Galaxies send some of their babies to planet earth to experience this planet and the good things that we have here. Things like love, caring, emotions, imagination, colors, skipping, singing, chocolate. What are some other things that you think that they might enjoy learning while they are here? (This is really important because it will make their time on planet earth even better.) I can program it into the robots to give it to the cosmic babies.
The robots take care of them until they are ready to go out into the world. There are families that will take them in and treat them like their own children and share more of our ways with them. These cosmic children then send messages back to their own planet about life on planet earth. And the cosmic children share things from their planets with their earth families.
At the station there are many robots that each have a different job.

One of the Robots
One weighs them. One is in charge of the food, for each cosmic baby needs it’s own diet so that it will be able to adjust to planet earth’s food (each planet has it’s own type of food and their bodies are not used to our food).
Another robot teaches them to laugh (this is an earth thing), while another teaches them to cry (another earth thing).
One robot teaches them how to choose what they want to do or not do (only on this planet do we get to learn about what we want and do not want).
There is even one that teaches them about wearing bows in their hair if they want to do that or how to hit a base ball. There are sooooooooooooooo many things a baby MUST learn for this planet.
As you can tell there is a lot to being on planet earth, but it is the most colorful place to live and the most fun!”
So I replied to her, with my suggestions about what the robots could also be programmed to teach the Cosmic babies …
- Curiosity and Exploration – finding out how things work, taking them apart and putting them back together in new ways
- Magical Eyes – the ability to look with wonder, awe and delight at anything and find the beauty in it
- Delight through Connection – feeling a connection with everything, and changing everything through the delight that they have for all of it
Also, the babies can be taught to be whoever they want to be and they can learn how to make the (seemingly) impossible become possible. That should keep them busy!!!
A few final words from Susan about the experience.
“For me the best part of it was in the doing/playing with it. There were no rules. It was done with ease and grace and laughter and lots of good food. Some wine (not much) but not whining. Lots of think time – most of that while in the pool staring at it. People stopped by to add an idea here and there. Sometimes they would get sucked into the joy of the whole thing. This is the way I see the new world being. Creating with such ease.”
We all have the potential for changing the ordinary into the magical. It requires only a starting point, a storyline, a sense of exploration and boundless fun. So there are two questions that I ask you, as the reader.
- What would you give the Cosmic babies?
- What project are you inspired to embark on now?
You can add your suggestions below.
